Lighting and power distribution
Our clients are aware that to maximise the benefit from their investment in a semi-permanent building some elements of temperature control will be required. This is particularly relevant when sensitive products are stored within the structure, and/or if employee productivity or comfort is a consideration - often a warm environment is essential.
Insulation
Insulated temporary buildings are becoming more popular. Advantages include:-
- They help to regulate extremes of temperature
- They are more efficient & cheaper to heat & cool
- They provide a less damp environment for storage of items and for working personnel
Heating
An effective way to heat a large space is with the use of large diesel fired fan heaters which move the extensive volume of air required to effect a temperature rise in our high-sided storage buildings.
Typical Indirect Heater Stats
Features include:-
- 90% thermal efficiency
- Automatic thermostatic control
- Minimal maintenance
- Large air volume movement
- Easy conversion to fan only ventilation in the Summer months
- Sited externally, to meet fire safety regulations
There are alternative, more sophisticated heating systems available, where specific requirements/conditions need to be met.
Cooling
At Aganto we use a wide variety of plant and equipment to achieve our objectives. This obviously depends upon factors of:-
- Cost
- Type of building construction/insulation
- Amount of temperature drop required
- Size/volume of building
- Amount of ventilation required
- Humidity consideration
Chillers
- Water and air cooled fluid chillers
- Environmentally friendly refrigerators
- Capacity from 50kw upwards
Air Handlers
- Used in conjunction with chillers these provide an ideal and cost effective solution for cooling structures. Airflow achieved from 5,000 m3/hr to 50,000 m3/hr
Air Conditioners
- A single package from 50kw to 150kw cooling capacity
Fans
- Wall-mounted air movement fans are an economical way of cooling the structure's internal environment.
Dehumidifying
- Essential where products or machines are susceptible to moisture damage, such as paper products or dry foods/goods storage. Our dehumidifiers Range from 200m3/hr to 6,000m3/hr.
