When looking at the proposed site do they ask about underground or overhead cables, site access or other restriction that may hamper the construction process? A good technical salesperson ensures that the build will go as planned without any unpleasant surprises.

Look before you buy

A reputable temporary building company will be delighted to provide testimonials and case studies of previous projects they have carried out. For an in depth investigation, you can ask to see an installed building and talk to the people that use it. First-hand information from an existing user provides the best practical advice.

Planning

Depending on the size of the building and its location, planning permission may be required. If you don’t have the resources or the time to investigate the planning aspect of hiring a temporary building, look for a company that can provide the service and don’t forget to ask about their planning success rate.

After the sale

One advantage of a temporary building is its flexibility. Should you find it is not large enough, then it can be extended.
