AB InBev is one of the world’s leading brewers, with sites based across the globe, including the UK. Established over 800 years ago in Belgium, AB InBev brew over 500 lager brands and their Preston site was undergoing a loading bay expansion when they required an additional storage facility.

 ## The Challenge

AB InBev needed a [temporary building](https://www.aganto.co.uk/temporary-buildings) to store various brands of canned lager products for their redevelopment plan. Working closely with contractors, they contacted Aganto to provide a robust solution.

 ## The Requirements

As the brewery was in use and under construction, Aganto worked with the client and contractors to successfully coordinate the installation. This required a much longer installation process and different use of plant equipment due to restricted site access.

 ## Our Solution

To successfully identify the temporary building requirements, such as size, location and optional features, Aganto Sales Director, David Duxbury, visited the brewery. Following the site visit, AB InBev purchased an Aganto warehouse.

- 30m x 85m x 6.2m part insulated temporary warehouse
- Rapid action [roller shutter door](https://www.aganto.co.uk/add-ons) for quick access
- 10 pedestrian doors across the large building
- Full electrical and lighting systems fitted
- Delivered on a brewery site without effecting operations

Taking twelve weeks from the point of order, a 30m x 85m x 6.2m temporary building was erected. To protect the temporary structure against weather damage PVC gables and gutters were also installed.

With the new [temporary warehouse](https://www.aganto.co.uk/temporary-buildings/warehouse) structure, AB InBev has increased the pallet storage capacity of its well-known products. Additionally, it has improved the brewery's operations and enabled a smooth process for their goods in and out.

"With collaboration with the AB InBev team we have delivered an impressive warehouse without impacting on the day to day operations of the brewery."

 David Duxbury, Sales Director, Aganto
