Meet Andy Gilman
I joined the Aganto team in 2023 as the Regional Sales Manager for the North West. With over 30 years in sales roles, I have the experience to understand my client’s initial requirements and help deliver exactly what they’re looking for from a temporary building.
Within my role I respond to any enquiries within the North West region and, where possible, I like to provide a same-day response to my customers.
An important part of my job is to carry out site visits – this allows me to meet the customer in person to discuss, in greater detail, what they are looking for. It also enables me to survey the site and take as many notes and site images as possible for use later when I put together the proposal. I really enjoy the diversity – one day I can be visiting a food manufacturing site, and the next I’m talking to a customer about a new car repair workshop.
I generally spend a couple of hours each morning putting together proposals from site visits and planning. I usually contact the customer within 24 hours of sending the proposal to ensure it reflects their requirements. I then reach out again a few days later when they’ve had the opportunity to consider it in more detail.
The Aganto team are incredibly supportive and there’s a fantastic team spirit. Whilst I have over 30 years of sales experience, when I joined Aganto I was new to the industry, everyone has made me feel very welcome.
When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my family; we recently moved to Nantwich to be closer to our young grandson. We’re fortunate to live in such a lovely part of the world and are enjoying exploring the town and the surrounding area. I’m also an avid reader, with a particular interest in history and politics.
