Requirement

AB InBev needed a temporary building to store various brands of canned lager products for their redevelopment plan. Working closely with contractors, they contacted Aganto to provide a robust solution.

Solution

To successfully identify the temporary building requirements, such as size, location and optional features, Aganto Sales Director, David Duxbury, visited the brewery. Following the site visit, AB InBev purchased a part-insulated temporary warehouse.

As the brewery was in use and under construction, Aganto worked with the client and contractors to successfully coordinate the installation. This required a much longer installation process and different use of plant equipment due to restricted site access.

Taking twelve weeks from the point of order, a 30m x 85m x 6.2m temporary building was erected with a rapid action roller shutter door and ten pedestrian access doors to accommodate the large building. To protect the temporary structure against weather damage PVC gables and gutters were installed. Inside the warehouse, Aganto supplied an electrical and lighting fit-out.

With the new temporary warehouse structure, AB InBev has increased the pallet storage capacity of its well-known products. Additionally, it has improved the brewery's operations and enabled a smooth process for their goods in and out.
