Graphic Packaging extends covered protection for product loading process
Graphic Packaging is one of the largest paper-based packaging manufacturers of some of the world’s most recognised brands. Graphic Packaging has provided innovative packaging solutions for more than 100 years, with 130 sites across the globe, nine of which are UK based. With their vast client base, they are often seeking ways to improve their production and operational processes.

Requirement
Graphic Packaging wanted to increase the protection of products against the outdoor elements, during the goods in and out process, at their Coalville site. As a previous client with an existing canopy on their site, they contacted Aganto to provide another high-quality solution.
Solution
Area Sales Manager, Paul Watmore, conducted a free site survey and advised Graphic Packaging on an additional canopy to extend the one they had on-site. To proceed with the proposed industrial canopy Graphic Packaging submitted a planning application. Once the application was approved, Aganto began construction.
A 20m x 25m x 6.2m single-skin canopy was gutter linked to the other Aganto industrial canopy. To complete the installation, Aganto supplied electricity and lighting alongside an electrical upgrade within the existing structure.
On a 60-month hire contract, the new canopy has successfully enabled Graphic Packaging to protect products during loading and offloading. It has increased the quality and quantity of goods during dispatch, and with the additional space, they have excelled in their operations.
