Delivering an urgent temporary retail solution for Waterways Garden Centre
Waterways Garden Centre in Wrexham has been trading since 1979 and specialises in all things gardening over its four-acre site. When the main retail facility for the centre was damaged by heavy snowfall, they required an immediate solution to be able to continue trading.

The garden centre trades high volumes of gardening stock and equipment with a large area dedicated to aquatics and reptiles. When their main retail facility was damaged by heavy snowfall and deemed unsafe, they required an immediate solution to be able to continue trading.
Waterways Managing Director, Ian Buxton, contacted Aganto to provide a temporary retail area to house the garden centre while repairs took place.

Our Solution
Aganto successfully installed:
- An insulated 15m x 20m temporary building
- Fitted lights, windows, pedestrian doors and vehicle access.
The project took just two weeks, from initial enquiry to competition, with the building installation complete in just three days.
As a result, Aganto was able to provide Waterways Garden Centre with a facility that enabled them to resume trading very quickly, minimised operational disruption and prevented loss of finances from lack of trade. The flexibility of the temporary building also allowed Waterways Garden Centre to strategise a long-term plan.
