Its all happening at the International Materials Handling Exhibition this year at the NEC Birmingham, 19th – 22nd March. Everything you could possibly want to know about making your internal logistics more efficient can be found at the event including Aganto’s temporary buildings. Its not all business though as you can rub shoulders with champion racing drivers plus their cars and also check out the supersonic Bloodhound designed to achieve a new land speed record of 1000 mph.
Land speed seems to be in abundance at the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX) this year with visitors being able to get up close and personal to the supersonic Bloodhound as well as a Porsche GT3 and British Touring car, complete with their champion drivers.
Held every three years the IMHX is taking place at the NEC over four days from the 19th to 22nd March and is billed as the essential intralogistics event that includes everything from essential forklifts and IT systems through to need driven solutions such as temporary buildings and financial services. Exhibitors who have large stands and even larger budgets will be pulling out all the stops to attract people to their stand including something many men love, fast cars!
As well as the need to check out some speed with the Bloodhound, a jet and rocket powered car designed to set a new land speed record of 1000mph and the British Touring Car and Porsche GT3 Cup Car, there will be some serious and must see business going on in the world of logistics.
Aganto will be attending the exhibition on stand M70 in hall 19, promoting our temporary buildings and instant building solutions. We cannot compete on stand size or attractions, but we can tell you how to save tens of thousands of pounds by choosing a temporary warehouse or loading canopy over a more permanent structure and why they are a legitimate alternative.
We will be alongside 400 other companies providing unique and innovative insights and ideas to save time and money on internal and external logistics.
The Logistics Excellence Conference is running over the duration of the event and is aimed at senior management with academic experts and ‘key note’ speakers. Alongside this conference is the case study conference which will offer practical proven knowledge of what works and how to implement it into your business.
In addition there is an Apprenticeship and Skills Zone, an International Visitors Lounge, Internet Cafe and free WFI. Fast cars aside though, the main draw though is the 400 odd exhibitors who genuinely have something interesting and useful to say about making your logistics operation more efficient.
So clear a day in your diary, get some comfy shoes on and head down to the NEC in a couple of weeks to check out the frivolous and serious ‘must sees’.
