As a leading provider of pallets for the logistics industry, and a long term partner of Aganto, CHEP UK is part of the largest global network of supply chain solutions.

CHEP UK has hired temporary industrial buildings from Aganto for their sites across the Midlands, Berkshire, Essex and the North East.

In October 2020, CHEP UK contacted Aganto with an immediate need to re-locate an existing temporary building. After a re-organisation of plant internally, this building was in dangerous proximity to a kiln in an adjacent building and was at risk of contravening health and safety protocol. Aganto acted immediately and re-located this temporary building to a different area on the site.

CHEP UK also required the temporary building to house a large piece of machinery that produced their world-renowned blue pallets. The only problem was that the machinery was too large for the existing building.

Aganto stepped in quickly to reduce the downtime of the machinery and came up with a novel solution to extend the existing space by gutter-linking two individual buildings. This resulted in a near-continuous operation, to the delight of the client.

Peter Woodward, Technical Systems Leader at CHEP UK stated, ‘I just wanted to say that our recent building extension has been a great success and really improved our operation in the existing building, providing vital additional weather protection for the equipment. I would like to thank you and the team for the professional manner in which this project was managed, with very good communications before the installation with the team providing RAMS and updates on plant deliveries. The installation team managed by Steve Ford also did a first-class job with perhaps a more unusual building design with 2 x 10 Meter portal frames and also had to work around some existing equipment. Based on this experience I would have no hesitation in recommending Aganto for future work.’
