In this case, a fully insulated temporary warehouse sized 15 metres in width, 65 metres length with a 5.2 metre eave height was recommended, with a 3-year rental term. In addition to reducing the initial outlay, the rental agreement provides flexibility for the space to be re-purposed if needed at the end of the contract period.
Following planning approval, the project went ahead with a sub site survey and follow up site audit. Aganto’s fully qualified in-house Site Manager Wayne Bradshaw had overall responsibility for the build works, and put his 14 years of industry experience to good use conducting the necessary risk assessments and method statements. All Aganto site staff go through intensive operational training to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality and professional best-practice.
Another important benefit of an Aganto temporary building is that they can be anchored to a variety of hard surfaces. This can include concrete, tarmac, hard core or even block paving. The site had existing tarmac hardstanding for the base plate fixing. Once the base plate was in, the aluminium frames, steel clad walls and double skinned PVC for the insulated roof were delivered to site and installed. The smart new warehouse was then finished with drainage pipes, a roller shutter door and pedestrian fire door. The building was completed over 9 days with minimal disruption to site operations, and now provides an ideal ambient environment for stock, keeping it secure and free from the effects of damp.
With a successful project delivery completed within the agreed timescales and specification, both Britax and Connect Storage were satisfied with the finished result:
“I would just like to say what an excellently run project this has been by all involved. Wayne and his team have been absolutely excellent, and I can’t fault them or their work in any way. They have been polite and considerate to everyone on site for the entire build. They have kept me informed, been very helpful and given advice through all stages of the build.”
“Please pass on our thanks to Wayne and the team.”
