A family run business covering the North West of England and also North Wales, Express Linen Services are one of the leading laundering and linen hire companies in the UK. Priding themselves on a high standard of service, 400 hotels, restaurants and NHS trusts are amongst some of their loyal customers.
Unfortunately, following a devastating fire at one of their depots, space to store linen became a major priority for Express Linen when their previous building had been affected.
Disaster recovery – fast response
Express Linen Services contacted Aganto as they needed a temporary unit erected and ready to use within a very short space of time; they had heard of Aganto’s reputation in being able to fulfil exactly what they promised- and fast.
Director Andy Butters was assigned the building project and soon forged a strong relationship with Express Linen. Andy understood that time was critical due to the fire damage and that they needed immediate storage space for their linen in order to keep operations as smooth and undisruptive as possible, and to ensure their reputation for fast, impeccable service remained intact.
Onsite space created in days with an Aganto temporary storage building
A new storage facility was installed at the depot in literally just days. The 5m wide x10m long x 3.2m high building was insulated and was supplied with a roller shutter door and access pedestrian door. The experienced Aganto site managers were also aware of the emergency requirement due to the fire and worked just as hard to ensure Express Linen had storage for their key product- and resume their core business strength of fast service. Although classed as a temporary structure, this new building will continue providing effective cover for as long as it’s needed – the typical lifespan is up to 15 years or more.
Echoing Aganto’s own brand ethos of delivering customer expectations rapidly, Express Linen’s main priority was to get up and running post-fire as fast as possible.
